mine is even bigger but when it dims at night it isn't anything blinding by any means. I have been amazed by everything it can do from warn me of a cop or road hazard ahead to the voice capability. It is so much easier to just push the button on the steering wheel and then tell the car/stereo/phone who to call than to ever touch the phone.

I don't even have to push anything on our wheel for stereo, just wave my finger in a circular motion and control up/down volume. Does'nt care what finger either.

if you flip someone off does it honk the horn for you at the same time? That would be a cool option...

I would say the same. The newer models I think start around 50 now and not with the same motor. Truck prices have just gone nuts the past few years and they certainly did not get better this year.

New truck prices are indeed insane. I got very lucky in '18 when I bought my '16 - I got in just before things went really stupid. When I was shopping new in '18, F-150s were going for $10k under sticker OTD with killer financing/rebates/incentives (at least for XLT trims, I think better deals were being had on the higher trims). I ended up in a slightly used one for a great deal. With that being said, my 10 year old '16 is doing just fine. Would I like to have a newer one? Sure, but it's paid for, set up how I like it (level/wheels/tires/audio), and it's been super reliable. There are some things that need attention (sunroof doesn't work but that's all of them and a blend door issue), but not enough to make me get rid of it.

I happen to take a look at the dealerships as I drove by last night and OMG they are PACKED! I mean they had cars parked in the middle to where they might have to move 2-3 cars to get one out and some were so close I think they might have crawled out the back, or they need to move the 3 cars on the drivers side to access the ones drivers side. I have to laugh as I remember when my brother decided to buy a new car when his died and it was at the heart of the pandemic when dealerships were sold out from parts shortages/what ever. We called the dealer that morning and they had exactly one car in stock, and it happened to be right in his range so we told them we were on our way. I remember pulling into the lot and seeing exactly one car, right in front. We knew which car for sure.

RIGHT!
The Ford dealership close to me never ever really had much of an inventory of new vehicles. Always was way more parking lot than vehicles, but dang not here lately. Cant take your own car through the lot to window shop. Got to park up front and walk. Lot is packed!
.....and in my mind im thinking "lot is packed full of plastic oil pans and plastic pick up tubes, plastic trans pans, plastic timing chain tentioners, junk ecoboost engines....ive lost confidence in the ford product.

it has gone from one dystopian reality to another. Like I said a few years ago it was the strangest experience I had ever had at a dealership. Every other time I had been to a reasonably successful dealership the place had a few cars inside, a few families running around and salesmen everywhere. That time there was literally only one car to sell, the lot and the building was empty of cars and people. I have also seen where some of the cars are now 2-3 years old having never been sold. I was AMAZED to be looking through marketplace and see the local porsche dealer was advertising 2024 taycans for $146k with 300 miles. Now mind you it is a porsche but the resale on those cars are brutal when they are new but with as quiet as the ride in it is you will def hear and feel the depreciation hit a 2 yr old model it as soon as the front tires hit the road.

The crazy prices have made my investment into the auto parts stores pay off really well though.
