After an exhausting search for a truck, I settled on this one. It's a 2wd, 2015 F150 Lariat with most of the bells and whistles. It has the 5.0, 6-speed auto with 3.55 gears. It's actually fairly quick for stock truck. I'm going to add my touch to it as time goes on but nothing major while it's under warranty.

Those are the nicest trucks I have ever driven! Congratulations! When the wife's Mazda3 is paid off I will be looking at the same thing. LOL...I must know about 6 people that have bought the exact same truck recently! Right down to them all being White.... well not exactly the same, they went with the Ecoboost 3.5 I still love the 5.0 & know it will go a long ways but am keeping my options open for now. I drove the Ecoboost recently & was blown away by the ride & power. Now I have to drive the 5.0 , sure looking forward to it.

All hail the 5.0! What changes were made for the 2015+ models as far as the engine goes? 385 HP vs the steel bodies 360 HP.

It's the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Now my wife is plotting on a new Mustang GT to park along side it. There are 4 or 5 white (2-3 Oxford White like mine and 2 Diamond White aka Pearl White) a black Platinum and a dark grey Lariat. I know all of those guys lol

I came close to buying an ecoboost powered truck but the saleswoman neglected to update me and I found this one instead.

Apparently they were rated @ 360/380 in 2014 but have been upgraded:

5.0-liter V8 with twin independent variable camshaft timing: Improved power and efficiency, delivering 385 horsepower and 387 lb.-ft. of torque. Smart engineering enhancements such as a new long-runner intake manifold, revised intake cam duration and new pulse-separated exhaust manifolds help raise towing capability by 1,100 pounds to a maximum 11,100 pounds, and payload to 3,300 pounds

After googling "Pulse-seperated exhaust" I believe its a technical way to say equal length manifolds.

That's what I was thinking!

See this link, crazy good info.

As for my equal length comment, I chose to modify it lol. Here's your exhaust manifolds.

So it seems as though its one step towards full equal length seperate flow tubes. But if the firing order doesn't have a pair firing in series, then each flow tube is alternating pulses. Firing order is 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2, so its nearly always alternating banks (exception of 8 to 6), and alternating flow tubes. Correct me if my thinking isn't logical lol.
