The next mod I’m planning is a custom rear exit exhaust and 19+ F150 Limited bumper sections.

Paid too much for this truck for all that.

I am not saying I would have done it but between telling a story of bending it on a railroad track, or jumping a train and punting a 50 gallon drum 200 yds I would be bragging about that barrel launch.

Like nothing ever happened. Except the new chrome bumper is peeling. They agreed to swap it out but I opted for a white one this round. They’re also painting my new rear bumper too.

I think painted bumpers look better , chrome looks weird on newer cars and trucks bumpers mirrors , painted looks clean

That is the end goal! Completely monochrome! The grille will be the last item changed out and I may just switch to a Platinum grille, they’re grey.

talking about that, i still watch for 2nd gen Lightnings. Saw a really nice one a couple days ago , Red. yeah that Shelby f150 i like.

Found an 04 blue lightning still had all the tags on springs frame diff look under hood tags were still in hoses harness
Original tires just emaculent super clean
2000 miles on it supercharger was beefed up
And those trucks hold there value he was asking alot
And he had 4 guys lined to buy it

I can generally find them for $15-18k around here. But we always have a crazy abundance of specialty ford trucks here due to the truck plants.

Ya I do see that
Trucks around over hear are mostly 4x4 lifted
A lot of desert to play in

My intentions were to buy a '99 Lightning [23k miles and MINT] from a man in NOLA but my credit union wouldn't loan me the money on something older than a 2006, at the time.

Food for thought:

'99 Lightning [what i was going to buy]

1. 4670 lbs
2. 360/440 stock
3. 0-60 5.6 / high 13's - low 14's stock

My big ass truck:

1. 4685 lbs
2. 385/387 stock
3. 0-60 7.5 / high 14's - low 15's stock

I haven't the slightest clue what my truck does in a timed event but it's not stock either. One of my Facebook buddies went mid 13's with similar mods to my truck so idk

1) pulley change, exhaust, and a tune and your high 12’s low 13’s on sticky’s.
2) that sound of the blower.
3) it says lightning and SVT!!!!!

But slap a blower on yours and see what it does. Or better yet, give it a set of twin snails!!!!!!!!!
