I'm sorry you ended up having issues with the car, but it was great to see it back out on course. You did a good job of shaking off the rust and getting back into the flow of autocross driving. Being able to correctly analyze video is a very helpful skill for improving your times out on course. Every time I watch my runs from events while putting my results videos together, I see areas where I can improve. I didn't drive this course, but two things stood out to me when I watched your videos:
1. Unless they required you to start straight, you could have angled the car to smooth out the arc into the first element. You made a big steering input to get through the first gate. Less input would allow for more speed. Every little bit helps.
2. There were some tight sweepers on that course that led to faster sections. Being able to anticipate the "fast-out" elements would allow you to get on the throttle earlier. In some cases, you have to use your course walks, previous runs, or run videos to help you "see around a corner" and attack what's coming up. If you go from coasting through a sweeper to full throttle in the next element, see if you can start to roll on the throttle somewhere in the sweeper.
Nice driving! I have no doubt you would have found even more speed if you were able to do your last 5 runs. I'm looking forward to seeing videos from your next event!
