Couple of parts on order to finish up the loose ends:

1. 06-09 Fusion fan module with pigtail included: GATES FCM117K

After talking with the guys on the Mod Motor w/ Holley EFI FB group, the decision to use a C6 fan controller triggered by the HEFI has been made. The Ford Contour version comes with the pigtail and is basically the same thing. This is, essentially, what I’ll be doing:

2. Holley MAP sensor bracket PN-9902-104

I found a nice little spot for the map sensor right behind the intake hanging off of the bottom of the strut tower brace mount. I had to make a mount for it but the vac line is nice and short to the same spot the FPR was connected for vac and you can hardly see any of it.

I found a spot beside the ac accumulator that won’t stand out much and will allow the wiring/vacuum hose to remain somewhat hidden.

Today I started building my AC relay/sensor/clutch harness. I need to go pick up some heat shrink so I can solder it and install.

Nothing glamorous about this but now my AC has a mostly completed harness! Now I just need to wire the harness to a relay, connect the wire from the AC controls to an input and run an output back to the relay.

More random pictures from my wiring adventure...

1. Forgot to loom this wire

2. This is the route the IAT, CPS, AC high pressure and AC compressor wiring will take.

3. It will look much cleaner once secured with adel clamps.

5. This is the oem ECU harness that I’m going to cut apart....

6. ...to free two connectors so this light will work!

7. You can sort of see the black and grey rectangular connectors i curtailed and has to reinstall to get power from the main harness to the dash harness so the right turn signal would operate

Left it sitting like this with my test wire in place while I was checking for the right circuit. Now the battery is dead.

Sold the Whipple LOL

Evil plans are unfolding!

The aforementioned adel clamps. They didn't fit the studs so i drilled the mounting holes out to work.

These will be secured to the chassis when I get the time.

Going to reuse the OEM wiring grommet for that opening to keep things secure.

Relay for the AC but I'm going to switch it out for one that has a mounting tab. I don't want the wiring to somehow come loose and wreak havoc. That loose wire it the Holley PWM output trigger for the engine fan controller.

Pulled the FR500 steering wheel since I traded it for my MOMO wheel.

Speaking of, I bought this filler panel from Carter's Customs to make the install cleaner. Now, I just need to buy the NRG items depicted so finalize it.

next time you do relays, use insulate female spades. Same thing as what you have except there is a plastic over them to shield them. You can always put a piece of heatshrink over the ones you have as well
