My ride height has been too low, from a steering geometry/handling standpoint, for quite awhile. My plan is to raise her up until the LCA is parallel to grade. Plus, and more pressing, I'll need to additional ground clearance for the IRS exhaust. I've also been bottoming out on something ever since I lowered the rear. it looks great but isn't worth the side effects.

Savvy viewers will also note the bump steer still needs to be measured and adjusted accordingly.

Always something to do.

I'm curious too - I was kind of thinking I'd like to get mine down just a touch further, but if it is going to create issues I'll steer clear (no pun intended). I'm currently on Eibach Pro springs and KYB struts. Fairly certain I transferred the isolators over, but may not have. I could remove the isolators and get a little extra drop. I think the isolators give 1/4" or so?

Isolators could potentially give 1/4” if they’re in decent shape

With a stock-style spring and strut/shock setup (non-coilover), lowering our cars too much will make them handle worse. I keep my autocross cars right around 27". The lower you go, the more likely you are to run out of suspension travel when pushing the car. That will lead to understeer and oversteer.

Slammed isn't worth the saddle bags it comes with. Find the best round about height for looks and function is between H&R SS springs and The eibach prokit

I do recall wanting to try both of those at different times but I made the move to coil overs.

I found the eibach prokit didn't quite nail it stance wise. But it had the nicest ride. The SS springs looked great and handle reasonably well, but the ride was a bit harsh.

I find coilovers to be eh.. I should replace my struts and see how it feels after that. The kit is riding on 60k mile struts

That change should make a noticeable difference.

The Eibach Pro Kit springs are progressive rate. For performance driving applications like autocross, linear rate springs are better. You don't have to wait as long for the car to "plant" before rolling on the throttle through and out of elements. Linear rate springs are more predictable. If your car sees mostly street use, progressive rate springs are a good option.

I've been lucky enough to ride in/drive a lot of SN95 Mustangs with many different brands of springs at autocross events and I haven't found springs that (in my opinion) perform better than Ford Performance C springs. Especially when paired with a good set of adjustable shocks & struts.

I need to measure and see where I am. I remembered wrong, I'm actually on the Eibach Sport (red) springs. I'll try to measure this weekend when I'm piddling.

Today I removed the Baer 13” rotor kit and installed a set of stock rotors.

Filthy!

Finally got around to cleaning the axle up a little and installing the new Yukon logos. Too bad you’ll never see them again.

Now I just need ABS! Look at where the u-bolts for the sway bar has been contacting the tail pipe. Can’t wait to remove them.

I’ve driven about 50 or so miles now since swapping and happy to report that the front brakes grab harder. Finally!

are you running an adjustable valve?

I have one on hand but I wanted to try shifting the bias this way first. My plans include reworking the brake lines in the engine bay since they look like doodoo. I’ll install the adjuster then.
