Talked to Chris Carver Motorsports about having the car corner weighed and the bump steer set. Waiting to hear back on a date.

Front fenders are 26”

Rear quarters are 26 3/8”

1.5 to 2 lower than stock. That isnt to drastic. The key is retaining suspension travel. Throwing a set of lowering springs on with incorrect shock and strut length is not the way to go. With stock mounting locations you need a shorter shock. You need to measure length once you determine ride height. You can also change the mounting points if you already bought shocks. Lower center of gravity is a good thing until your to low that it will produce to much downforce slowing you down. Finding the sweet spot for your specific needs is clutch. Street set up and track set up are totally different due to road conditions. You need to determine how you want it set up. Wheel and tire size also play a roll.

@OpalFrostGT

All very good points and the path I’m currently walking with finding the proper balance between these things. I do believe I’m at the lower range of my dampers in terms of travel and plan to bring the nose up some. This will all be addressed sooner than later, hopefully.

About put the car in a ditch this morning being stupid in an 90° turn and noticed they back tires were practically bald so I'll run like this until my new front wheels come in on the 17th.

:oops: Put the carbon fiber fenders back on the car and FINALLY on 315/30r18 at each corner! The tires interfere with the bumper and I’m weighing my options to remedy this.

Did some preliminary trimming to the point that it’s apparent the splitter needs to be cut. I’m not sure I want to do so and may be going back to the busted up Saleen setup for now. It may be fugged up but it clears! I’m also going to trim that bumper/fender mount section to clear. I feel that it will contact as the body rolls when pitched into a corner.

Saleen clearance is much better!!
