If I could find the motivation, I'd swap them right now.

Turns out I was incorrect about the water pump. It's obviously leaking from the intake gasket.

Also, changed the plugs and wires. Not sure why people make it sound harder than it is.

Finally got around to installing my APC projector headlights today. This entailed trimming the header panel, actually trimming the HID bulbs down some and about 1.5 hours of my time. For those wondering, I trimmed the bulbs since they were some H8 type that I received by mistake in the past. These headlights required a 9005/9006 bulb, not the usual 9007. Undeterred, I "made it happen" with what I had on hand.

How do you like the PI intake/cams swap so far? I have both on hand but very nervous to swap the cams.

So far it seems to be just as reliable, and I feel a lot more power when it hits the high RPMs. I was nervous using RTV but it hasn't given me any issues. The cams can be intimidating, but with the help from guys on here I was able to get it back together even after I screwed everything up lol. Overall it's worth it to me for sure, just not something I'd want to do for the first time if I was on a big time crunch to get my car back on the road

That's my issue with attempting the swap, it's my daily driver and I don't have a back up.

It should be. When I had these wow it had to be 12-13 years ago I was using PIAA bulbs and it was better than the OEM lights so I bet the HID's will be a huge improvement.

Go outside and take night shots.

That would be a rough decision to dive into it then. It's definitely possible to do in a few hours, but highly unlikely your first time around.
