With all seriousness I have owned both I'm sure we all can find pictures of riced camaros and tas but they are not seen nearly as often as mustangs. Any thoughts on this I'm just asking bc I dont like having to talk to these idiots

I'm sure the owners of riced out mustangs really enjoy them and have worked hard...

But reason why I see mustangs getting questionable mods is:

1. Cheap.
2. Because mustang. But actually, its just an iconic car and lots of peoples dream.
3. young owners. goes along with cheap.
4. aftermarket, its huge. If you want something, someone makes it.
5. popularity, they're everywhere. easy to buy.

I know exactly what you're talking about! There's a totally riced out 97 (I think) GT where I live that's just an embarrassment to mustangs everywhere...but you hardly ever see the camaro's that way. I guess the camaro's were crappy enough already that no one saw any need to make em look any worse by way of the rice. I did find this though...

How about some orange catfish with a side of rice?

the few times I went there they were everywhere. I felt like an oddball driving a body wise stock 89lx.

Because camaro's are actually amazing cars so why would you bother ricing one out?

Mustangs on the other hand....

Depends on the model, the catfishmeros were never that popular in the first place so they didn't get nearly as much attention as the sn95s (the bad ass stangs). Now the newer cameros are quite a bit more popular, and those are a whole lot more riced out than the coyote s197s.

I agree. With these newer stangs you see them look nice and mean but when a Camaro passes by I guarantee you it's going to have 24+ inch rims

More older Mustangs available...camaros don't hold up as well & get junked sooner I think. I see very few camaros here in the NW and almost none in good shape...lots of new ones though

I don't think they sold nearly as many Camaros in the 90's as Mustangs and the Mustangs are lasting longer so more are available to buy cheap.

The mustang is the most well known muscle car in the U.S. that is modified, plus the mustang has been in production for over 50 years.
