Why do you 4.6 Cobra guys always put down the 5.0 Cobra?

oh i've always heard the block splits around that, and that was why most people went with aftermarket blocks. but i don't really pay attention to the 5.0s so.. yeah haha

Its all in the tune. If its tuned right 500 HP is not the limit. The 5.0 does have a point where it is not going to handle XXX amount of HP but 500 is pretty common on the 5.0 engines. And yes the Cobra wing kicks ass!

my problem with the 94-95 cobras are the stock hood and rear bumper, and the 45* throttle body jammy jam. which are simple fixes and I dont put them down, they're great cars. I think people are a little disappointed because their stock performance is on par with a fox car.

most if any stock foxes don't run low 14s, though.

BAB (Bright Atlantic Blue AKA Bad Ass Blue) in 98 IMO is probably the most beautiful color to come on 96-98 Cobras AND is more rare than Mystic Cobras

Also, to stay on topic. The supercharger for a 5.0 is cheaper and we don't need a fancy tuning computer thingy majigy to go fast either! :tongue3:

Jk 4.6 and 5.0s are two totally different beasts. It all depends on what your weapon of choice is :eek:ccasion14:

what rare interior/color options did the 96-98 have? The Mystic's were rare but was there anything else?

Each cobra has its ups and downs. I love my 95 cobra, but also think that the newer cobras are pretty baller. Nothing sounds like a 4.6L DOHC cobra, its just amazing. But if you want to look at production #'s the 94-95 have lower production numbers so may seem a little more "rare" if you will. I was originally looking for a 96-98 cobra but the deal I got on my 95 was just too good to pass up. To each his own.

I'll stick to 5.0. Theres a reason it's cheaper.
