a 275/40/17 tire on a 17x9 rim on my 97 v6. will it fit fine and not rube or anything?

I am running 275/40x17 on my car and the only rubbing I get is when I turn my wheels to sharp. Shouldn't be much if any difference between the V6 wheel wells and GT wheel wells.

i have 265/35 on an 18X9 wheel, so it is similar to your wheel and tire combo..im lowred at least 2 inches and barely rub on full lock.

oh ok well i decided on a 18x9 rim ans my dd wants to order a 245/40/18 will it fit the rim fine?

i think i have said this in another of your threads, but they will fit but they won't be the "right" fit in my opinion...your rims will be eft exposed and you will have a much better chance of curbing your rims instead of hitting your tire.

cause it says the tire on the info it says best fit for 245.40,18 tire on a 18x9 rim and then on the rim im getting is a 8x9 but it says best tire fitment 265/35/18
