I just bought a Basssani x pipe and high flow cats 2.5". I have a Vortech on my 96 cobra and I'm currently making 370hp with factory pipes and 4 cats. Only other mod is muffler delete. I was wondering if I would see more gains than than the usual X pipe install being that I'm pushing so much more air than the usual N/A car. I will have 2.5" x pipe into factory 2" straight pipes. Thanks !

I am installing a vortech on my 94 with that has a magnaflow high flow catted X. I could see you gaining little but I could also see it not making much difference. I added an electronic cut outs just for fun and also thougth it might had a few hp. I walked to my mechanic and he knows guy there that did the same thing to his GEI=o.....

Is it going to be better? Yes.
Is it going to be NOTICEABLY better? No.

Will a 2.5" X-pipe that has two fewer catalytic converters flow better than a 2" X-pipe with four catalytic converters? Absolutely.
Will this additional flow be more beneficial for a motor with a blower versus one without? Yes.
