I picked up this nearly new Walbro255 gss342 the other day for 40$. Upon doing some research after the fact i've come across a lot of conflicting stories about whether this thing will properly work in my car which was built in 8/'98, but not with the original motor. I've read Focus/Aviator pumps are the way to go as opposed to these. Thoughts, opinions?
Yeah worst part of owning a 98.... almost went broke chasing fuel pump related issues I'm not an expert so I'll wait for someone to chime in But I think no, it won't work.... The D3V
From what I read it won't work straight up...... http://forums.corral.net/forums/gt-sohc/1303948-98gt-fuel-pump-answer-once-all.html Post 31 The D3V
Good info, appreciate that. Doing more research i found this off a thread on Stangnet. Might go that route. http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-for...and-i-will-tell-you-where-to-get-them.854609/ http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/_/N-8vcz2?itemIdentifier=867920_200273_0_
I like this. I'm gonna grab one tomorrow. Whats the Part# for Autozone? The link just takes me to autozones home page.
