I picked up this nearly new Walbro255 gss342 the other day for 40$.

Upon doing some research after the fact i've come across a lot of conflicting stories about whether this thing will properly work in my car which was built in 8/'98, but not with the original motor.

I've read Focus/Aviator pumps are the way to go as opposed to these. Thoughts, opinions?

Yeah worst part of owning a 98.... almost went broke chasing fuel pump related issues

I'm not an expert so I'll wait for someone to chime in

But I think no, it won't work....

Airtex E2448 - $67 at advance auto, add a filler to get over $75 and use code TRT37 for $30 off $75
