Over the years what transmission fluid is everyone running in their TR3650's?

I’ve run Valvoline Mercon in two 3650s and a t45. Never had any issues cold or hot. I know the 3650 can be picky when it comes to fluid but that hasn’t been my experience.

Update. My 30k Mustang Bullitt (2001) finally back on the road. My 1-2 shift grind is GONE! Change the fluid from factory fill, probably Mobil 1, to GM Synchromesh. Night and Day difference. Got just under 4qts of the factory and replaced with 3.2qts.

Synchromesh is what I use and it’s always done me well, my t45 shifts at 7800 with no complaints.

Minor 1-2 shift "notchiness", but if I hold the shifter hard left between the 1-2 shift it goes right in? Still satisfied with the GM Synchromesh.

According to Temec, the 3650 uses Dexron (IV) now and not the Synchromesh synchro differences.
