Hi All,

I have a WTB posting listed here and received a message from a brand new member who just joined last night 4/1 and was last seen 4 minutes after joining. In other words, they joined, sent me a message about someone they know who has what I'm looking for, then disappeared. This has the classic earmarks of a scammer. I've gotten similar messages from WTB postings on racingjunk.com. These people are clever and use tactics to reel you in like sense of urgency, have just what you're looking for, a low price, demand PayPal "friend or family" payment, etc.
If it sounds too good to be true, it's not just likely to be a scam, it's more like 99.999% certain. Be very skeptical.

Just reported three more. jonathanlenry, shegz67 and gregwag. All three are new and two of them joined the same day. I suggested to the mods that they check the IP addresses to see if they're the same. If so ban all three and that IP.
