Good morning all, I have a 96 GT Vert 5-speed that desperately needs a transmission swap. Currently has the GT’s standard T-45, I’m looking at this one pictured below. A 96-98 Cobra T-45, other than the Cobra End brackets, will this be a direct bolt in?

Thanks.

You will need either the 96-98 Cobra cross member or a Stifflers equivalent.

Bellhousing will bolt right up and I'm pretty sure all the clutch linkages/cable/etc are all the same.

The trans will come with a cobra crossmember. I will have to get the end brackets though.

I know a 5.0 cobra has a different pilot bearing and trans input shaft. Is this the case on 4.6 GT vs Cobra?
