The synchromesh makes it easier to put the car in reverse now. I didn’t expect that but I’ll take it.
Hard to engage gears.

I to have found the hard way. You get what you pay for in terms of oil and fluids. Im sold on royal purple Trans fluids

I was looking for royal purple but I could not find it at autozone and oreillys so I went with Valvoline. That was what oreillys had. Autozone only had two quarts of pennzoil. I needed three quarts.
One time, aggravated at a rebuilt trans i did for a friend. I made bigger shift forks to replace the broken ones in his t45. He opted for store brand fluids. When driving he complained shifting dragging and hard to move. After a few hundred miles he decided swapping the fluid might help. So we did. Low and behold a night and day difference
