that's true but that only matters if you're going to sell it. I'd still mod it if it was mine and then change it back if i wanted to sell it.

Matt it could be 1 of 1 because Saleen Cobras are pretty rare.

i met a guy with a '98 jack roush stage 3 cobra that is 1 of 2. other one is yellow and its in california. i have his business card somewhere around here lol

It is a great looking car. I happen to like it because it is a conv. Having mine has really turned me over to them. Still don't know if I would give up your car, Matt. I'd for sure get it if I could buy this one, too.

well, even though he did mod it, he did tasteful mods. And a greater portion of them were Ford Racing parts, so there's no junk on there.
The owner probably realized that it needed a little more performance, and figured that any potential buyer would feel the same.

I have a Saleen book with all specs and number of every model made from 1984-2003....

According to the book there were 7 Convertible S-281 Cobra Saleen mustangs made in 1996. The window sticker was $41,000. The engine was rated at 305hp@5800 rpms and 300tq @ 4800rpms.

The VIN matches up with the registry, car was shipped on 7/27/96, VIN# matches and it was purchased by Jason Czura in NJ.
