So i swapped over my saleens to my 95 and decided to sell the r's but since they are a little scuffed up and need some love i decided to fixem up and paint em

as you can see they are ok, but kind of plain.

step 1 clean the crap out of them
step 2 scuff up with 400 grit
step 3 tape up
step 4 primer

finished

step 5 paint

step 6 clear

finished product

what do you think?

What kind of primer did you use? Duplicor also? Are you going to be sealing them with anything? Wax?

i used a clear on them so its all good

and yes i used the high build sandable primer from duplicolor

the rims are sold so i dont know how long it will last but most people on other forums say that they will last for a long time as long as your careful with them ie no curb rashes and not using acidic wheel cleaner
