That's if the clutch wasn't burnt and now glazed with still good depth left, which would most prob need to be changed in that case as well. Flywheels have minimum thickness, max run-out spec's, and visual signs that also indicate if it's good or bad just like brake discs. Now that's all great if you have the parts in your hands, not symptoms that a clutch would cause..aka.. grinding gears , high pedal, slippingWhy was this "kid" telling you it needs to be replaced??</blockquote>
