I recently tried installing a new ac condenser into my mustang. After installing the new condenser I realized that the connections to the ac lines were not the same as on the oem ones. When I look online it says the one I got should work on a 1998 cobra. I wanted to know if anyone new of this issue or maybe if I have to replace the lines too.

I’m wondering if I could just replace these connection points and it might work. I just have no clue where I could get a part like that.

98 is a tricky year. Lots of parts vary between early and late build dates

From experience, get something that fits so you won’t have to cobble something together. It’ll save you time, money and headaches later on.

I’d either get a different brand (4 seasons is a good aftermarket brand) or buy a good used one. I have a used condensor on my 87 Grand Marquis that’s been going strong for years.

You could be right. I used all 4 seasons hoses, drier and evaporator core when I rebuilt the ac system in my 87 Grand Marquis. It gets COLD.
