I live and work in the middle of the city so the manual in the Stang hasn't even been as fun as it can be, since I'm just doing stoplight to stoplight in traffic all the time...feel like it would be a lot more fun in the suburbs where I could open it up a bit more and have some more fun, so looking at auto models if I trade since the Focus would be just a commuter anyway. The other driving force here is I don't really want to put any money into the Mustang; I don't want it to end up being another car that I dump a shitload of money into every three months and ultimately end up tying so much money up in it that it would forever seem stupid to sell because I'd never want to sell it after making a major repair, but I'd also want to sell it when it ran good rather than waiting for it to have something broken and take a big loss on a sale. The car runs great for now, but I just turned 90k miles Friday. Been there done that where you dump a bunch of money into it to the point it seems stupid to sell and that cycle sucks since you end up feeling trapped with the car. The other driving force here is that I'm just ready to move the fuck on from having 15 year old cars as daily drivers. I want something new with a warranty that I don't have to ever worry about, with a budgetable payment rather than a huge surprise repair bill every so often. [QUOTE="Nacho98, post: 1010468, member: 15363"] What do you guys think? Been thinking I may be interested in trading the Stang for a Focus hatch with an auto come fall (the wife needs to be able to drive it unfortunately otherwise I may be looking at a 2013 ST but then again I'd rather not be lumped in with the "sport compact" crowd so I'd be looking at an SEL or Titanium). I just feel like I'm ready to be done with old cars for DDs. So, that said, what do you guys think of these little cars? I'm starting to like them more and more and they seem to rank as one of the best small cars on the market. They seem to have a hell of a lot of features for such a little car. EDIT: The one thing I think really sucks though--and this happens with lots of new cars--is that now you have all this XM/Sirius/HD radio or Ford SYNC/MyTouch which is all technology shit that probably requires software updates and worst of all requires monthly subscription shit after a while.
