Message: <blockquote data-quote="KillNThrill24" data-source="post: 1041197" data-attributes="member: 16906"><p>i literally just finished doing my 4.10's yesterday and the 3.27 pinion had 1 shim on it and there wasnt a number or anything on it. the bearing kit that i got (frpp) gave me a bag full of shims and they were all the same size. i grinded out the old bearing and test fitted my 4.10 pinion with the grinded out bearing so it didnt have to be pressed on and off and ended up using the original shim on it. still gave me the perfect depth and then the backlash was also dead centered using original factory shims. iv put around 70mi on the setup and have had 0 issues and no humming of any sort</p></blockquote><p></p>
