The intake manifold will not clear them, although the mechanic tells me he needs more like 3-4 (about 1 1/2") cm not 3/8". He also had to remove the oil refill because it is in a different place (under the intake on the manifold). He feels that the vovers can't be much lower than the ones from the new engine because rocker arms will not fit. Does this all sound familiar?Another problem is that even if he were to lift the manifold by 3-4 cm, the hood would not close :crying:How can I get around this problem? Where you able to get the ford racing valce covers to fit under the stock hood with the intake manifold?An intake on the hood would solve this problem and provide cold air to the supercharger intake which is currently located just above the exhaust headers on the driver's side. The problem is I don't want the car to look tacky and a new hood is a large expense :dunno:</blockquote>
