It’s all buried in my build thread. I’ll give you the cliff notes; Built a 410w with a SVO block with a TFS 3 cam but could only afford Procomp 210 heads & Performer RPM intake. Made peak power around 4500 rpm’s. Had those heads CNC ported and switched to a TFR R intake. Started to have issues with pushrod angle and ultimately bent a valve. Sorted that issue and then broke a rocker stud. Around this time, I landed my current job and my budget blossomed. Spend a boatload on AFR205’s, Victor SR intake, custom Ed Curtis cam, Holley EFI. Wrecked my daily driver 98 GT and just lost interest. Guy made me an offer I couldn’t refuse and sold it all. Hindsight? Should’ve yanked the TFS 3 cam, dropped my old E-cam in with my E7 heads and drove it like that until I could’ve dropped a better top end on it. All of that I mentioned above played out between 2009 and 2016. I put about 700 miles on the 410w and it was just a bitter lesson to learn. Now, with the Coyote, I’m making good power and it’s been very reliable. Just not cheap, at all.
