The compression is way too low, at 8.8, pistons are cast, blocks wear very quickly. So bank on a bore, new pistons, and a balancing of the assembly. The rods are decent with good arp rod bolts, and the crank will take a bunch of power too. Use main studs, and some arp head bolts. Be a very nice engine with some good heads and intake. The stock stuff isn't very good or able to be used in your mustang, as far as intake goes. The stock heads are too small for performance, remember, this was in a truck, not built for hp but for torque.</p></blockquote><p></p>
