So a friend of mine has a 97 6-spd camaro that he put into a wall, its sitting in his back yard. My question is can I make that 6-spd tranny work for me at a reasonable cost? I was thinking maybe change the input shaft and bellhousing, but I dont know how easy or costly this could turn out to be. I could prolly get the tranny for about $5-600 and it works fine. Maybe less since he just got fired. He says its a t-56. I just wondered if anyone had ever heard of somoene doing this swap before. What would have to be done?</p></blockquote><p></p>
