Okay once again I'm unsure but I'm leaning more towards getting some used GT40 type stuff together. How would it be to get a set of GT40X heads (please fill me in on how to identify these and if going used here would be ok if i replace the springs, seals, etc. I also am thinking of going with the TF stage 1 cam with a GT40 intake. Oye On the up side... I dropped the oil pan down on the engine to have a look see. Nothin but old oil in the pan, no shavings, no metal. I could see the bottoms of the cylinder walls where the pistons were rubbing and I can still very clearly see the factory crosshatch. Engine turns over smooth. I think I got me a good one to work with :)
