Also, you have your explanation backwards or the picture is backwards. Either way, the MSD comes with a steel gear for the 302 roller cams. Hope the Edelbrock does or you'll have more problems real soon. You can measure with a rod for the distance to the distributor hole inside the block and do some math. I've never run into a problem and the oil pump shaft shoud be sticking up into the inner guide hole anyway.</p></blockquote><p></p>
