Does the heater blow hot?I would start with the Thermostat, ensuring the spring is facing the engine! While you have it out, throw it in a boiling pot of water to make sure it opens. Then put it back in, spring facing the engine.If you verify that the thermostat is good and installed properly, then you will probably need to flush again. I would buy the prestone cooling sytem flush. Follow the instructions on the back. You might notice a surge of gum and grime coming out after using that stuff.
