When I was buying it the coolant light was on I figured it was no biggie, filled the coolant to the fill line. It's been a week I put about 100miles on the car and when I went to start the car today the coolant light stayed on for a couple seconds longer then normal and went off again. I checked the fluid level and it's about half an inch to an inch lower then the fill line...is this normal??? My buddy has a Z28 and he blew the head gasket on it and said he was lossing coolant for a while before the head gasket went out all together...another one of my friends has a 98 SN95 it's a v6 however and he says his losses coolant all the time in the resevoir as long as the radiator is full it's not an issue. Any thoughts, could it be the head gasket?? I checked the lines and it doesn't look like any are wet or leaking...car runs like a champ and only has 108,000miles on it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
