I thought "surely that can't be right" so I plugged it back in, but the factory alarm goes off as soon as I open the door, unless the anti theft is unplugged. I have checked all fuses. I also checked voltage at the battery, and with the engine running it's approx. 11.7 and varies little regardless of engine speed. Engine off, key off, is around 12.7 volts. I have also had both the battery and alternator tested, and they both passed.</blockquote>
