At minimum, pretty much the entire system should be replaced every 10 - 15 years just depending on how well it was maintained. And maintaining is easy:  you need to have the A/C system running at least a few times a year for 30m each, even in the winter, so that the PAG oil can circulate and keep all o-rings lubricated. Once those o-rings dry up, they degrade excessively and invite air/moisture inside. Once this happens, the desiccants get too saturated with moisture and they too get excessive degradation.</p></blockquote><p></p>
