[QUOTE="DragonsNJ, post: 700667, member: 11591"] I get ya, you hate ricers, I don't mind them lol and I am exactly that, uneducated when it comes to names/brands of parts for cars but I know what I want, my goals is just a street care, I don't want a "track only" car, so I'm looking for parts that I can buy that could be used for good use and performance and also that looks good/clean for when its time to show off at car shows. No, the lights don't add HP, duh? lol the lights, and parts you named off are obviously for show only, lights stay off until parked at the show, as for how I beat a GT, not 100% sure but the work done is a full MAC Exhaust headers back (I believe the stock cat was used for fitting purposes) intake which doesn't add anything over 2HP lol and I think it was forced or forged pistons, not sure the correct wording because I didn't do that job, it was done when I brought it a few years ago. The Pistons were the only thing done to it at the time I brought it, and I owned an 87 LX that was all go, 4" high fiberglass hood, 4 hood pin down removable and a Saleen wing I believe it was and thats all. Yes, this was the first care I "riced out" and you have to do it sometime to understand the nature of others doing this, and I understand now and no longer hate the ricers lol but then again some things I still call rice like HUGE wings on a RWD civic.. yeah just no. So hate on me all you want but I know why I did this and I also know this won;t be the last Mustang I get and I ALSO know the next Mustang I do get will be a 2003 Cobra with nothing but engine work, I love the looks of it stock so no need to alter that.
