There is a big difference from the bottom line 1 year warranty to the top full new LT alternator. I’ve got a full new lifetime Ultima Select sitting in the box to go on mine but it’s not a regularly driven car and it’s not a big deal to snag it off and swap it at work. Sometimes it does take a few to get a good one in the cheaper lines, but you can get them tested in store before leaving to make sure. I don’t remember the number right off, but I think we have something like a 4% warranty rate on our alternators top to bottom, but there are some numbers that are a little more prevalent with being not up to par and for some reason they tend to be Fords- I will not sell our brand of 6.0 Powerstroke alternators after warrantying a half million of them. But anyways, O’Reilly spill over.</blockquote>
