Message: <blockquote data-quote="BLCKSTNG96" data-source="post: 841400" data-attributes="member: 9466"><p>id take it to a machine shop and have them look at that valve guide.if you just think about it,it makes sense,that valve only has that small channel of a guide to move in,if its bent chances are its moving inside that channel in a not so straight fashion.id also have a machine shop pressure test the heads for good measure.i had a set of just freshened heads on my car for 6k miles,i broke a valve spring so i sent both heads to the shop (fox lake performance) to check out all the springs,well unknown to me i had more leaking valves then not haha but the car still ran and seemed to pull pretty good,i never would have known,pressure test is cheap too.my buddy bent one valve ever so slightly and his guide also had to be replaced,all that plus the pressure test of one head was ony 110 bucks for everything.</p></blockquote><p></p>
