Just saw your “freshly painted” post, instantly recognized the interior, saw you were listed as a “new member,” and came right here to see more. Yes, these interiors are indeed rare. You could only get them with black, white, opal frost, or Rio red exterior from 94 to 95. These tended to be fleet orders, a bulk of them being rental companies. Most were v6es, but seeing the leather, GTs were even more rare, as they were either GT cloth or GT leather, meaning there were 3 different codes for this interior. That doesn’t even go into the manual window door card nonsense. Get a Marti Report https://www.martiauto.com/martireports.cfm It should tell you EXACTLY how many were made. I believe 530 Rio red v6 convertibles came with red interior. I think I saw a white GT post up theirs and they were a little over one hundred. Make sure you come back here and post of the production numbers when you get it, ok? Ever since 1998, I have been keeping my eyes out for other red interiors. I have found about 5 others in the wild. People hated them, and many were repainted black, or just swapped out and trashed. With the bulk being v6es, they were driven to the ground, then crushed. So they are even more rare now then when I first started looking.
