Ed, First off, I never ONCE said you were wrong. I never ONCE threw ONE SINGLE INSULT towards you, your name, or your company. In no way did I question your credibility or vast knowledge. EVER...read the the ENTIRE THREAD ABOVE then show me where I bashed you please. Because I put you, jay allen, and santa claus in the same sentence? Hardly. Please let the site owner come in and look at this thread. I deleted nothing. I'm not here to have a name dropping contest with anyone and I'm not running to my engine builder or cam grinder b/c of what someone on the internet said. I have better things to do with my time as do they. My statement was one point and one only. I believe that a 347 puts more strain on an already shitty block that a 331 does. THATS IT and THATS ALL. No, my credential list isn't nearly as vast as yours...doesn't have to be to have a SIMPLE UNDERSTANDING of the physics of a motor. I did use the words "major cause of splitting." Perhaps I should have reworded it. Never said it was harder on the block than any power adder either. The biggest thing I try to drive home is to not even bother with stroking a stock motor. You may disagree. Fine. Had I known then what I know now, I never would have wasted my money by pouring it into a 5.0L Roller block but my goals for a car may be completely different than everyone elses. Now, if you'll exscuse me, I have to go polish my NMRA Trophies, build a few race prepped engines (I'm a "global moderator...I have an image to up hold!), and then I have a meeting with World Products for this new block we're developing...its nothing really. (sarcasm off) Seriously, Mr. Curtis, please read the entire thread. I never ONCE insulted your name so please don't get that twisted at all. Have a good one, Ry
