Message: <blockquote data-quote="sn95gtvert" data-source="post: 711330" data-attributes="member: 11975">ouch man sorry to hear. looks like your pulling the t5 out no matter what. once you have the t5 out roll it through each gear by hand that should give you a good feel for the gears. also drain the fuild and see if there is any metal.i'd suggest doing this even if you find a bad t.o. bearing or a messed up disk/pressure plate.i've done a cluch on a 93 328i bmw step one to pulling the trans was taking the windsheild wipers off. long story short put the new clutch kit in and it had the same problem. did all that bs again to find 2nd gear gone and had to order a new 5speed.</blockquote>
