[QUOTE="Pete@FTR, post: 1078178, member: 17526"] Hi guys, Last week I spun out in the rain and snapped my rear right axle and brake rotor, messed up two wheels, and ended up halfway on a center curb. Anyways, I put in a new axle, and changed the rear pads and rotors on both sides. While I was waiting for my new wheels to come, I decided to paint my calipers in the mean time. The rear brakes I took off the part that holds the pads (not sure what its called), painted them separately and then masked off and painted the piston assembly, while still connected. The front I just masked off the rubber parts and the rotors. Everything seemed to go well. Finally got the car on the road today and it works great except that when I stop at a low speed (like under like 25mph) i hear (and feel in the pedal) a grinding that sounds like metal or something springing or sounds like gears grinding. I can't tell specifically, but I think its coming from the front (the part I didnt take apart) or under the pedal. Any ideas? Thanks tl;dr: Stopping under 25mph grinding noise and feel in pedal.
