Engine brake in 3rd gear) I push the clutch in and my car dies. Never any other time. It only happens after engine braking. 3rd or 2nd gear. It happened awhile ago. I cleaned my idle air control valve and it went away until I just recently. Now it is very inconsistent. It'll do it mainly after freeway/highway runs.It's like I turn the key off. RPM just drops to zero with the clutch in not rapidly or anything either. Oh, I am able to catch it with the clutch out sometimes and when I give it some gas, it jerks a bit like I'm push starting it Let's see what other info I can give. EGR is deleted, no cats, tuner takes care of the CEL's on those, valve stem seals are pretty shot on cylinder #5 that's all I can really think of.My car is a 96 GT, PI cams, many other bolt ons and the SCT X3 handheld.
