Here's a pic of how my bumper looks after someone hit it in a parking lot or something. Paint's gone. I'm going to get the car painted in the future but I need to do something because it bothers me everytime I see it, not to mention it makes the car look like shit. I have some Rustoleum spray paint. I painted my rear lower valence with the stuff and its holding up fine for the past 3 months or so. Would it be okay if I sprayed the spot where my paints missing just to cover it? Would I need to sand the area first or just spray away?

Doesn't look that bad IMO. I think it'll look worse if you try to touch it up.

Have you tried giving it a polish to atleast get rid of the clear coat scratches?

Trust me it looks worse in person lol. Idk the paint I got actually blends in with the paint. My rear lower valence blends in with the bumper. I've tried buffing it, using rubbing compounds, polishes you name it, paints gone right there. And my whole from bumper looks like it has a severe case of acne from the previous owner lol, clear coats fading anyways.

Scuff the main area you're gonna spray and just spray a very small distance past the scuff edges

Go to your Ford Dealer and get some touch up paint that matches your paint code. Apply it on the those spots.

Or put a bandaid on it if you're cheap like me.

Is it the camera or is it dented also on the body line? Best thing to do is sand it done paint the spot and if the bumpers paint is good everywhere else just blend it and re-clear the whole thing

Thanks for the tips. The cars gonna get a full respray eventually, but I can't stand it anymore lol. I just said fk it and sprayed a small area, looks like it was sprayed but blends in so idrc. Looks better than it was, cheap but i don't have the $$ to have it resprayed lol. I'll wax it soon and it'll shine

How did it look before you stuck the papertowel to it? and WHY?
You prob just need to sand it off again and respray it.

You might be able to wet sand the paint with a very high grit sand paper (1500,2000) and then use some polish and wax to get the shine back.
