[QUOTE="Fryrice, post: 185723, member: 8532"] COST COST COST COST ,I cant say it enough. YOU want experts ,then your gonna pay dealership prices. And if Advance/Autozone had dealership prices, they would go outta business cuz we wouldnt need them . Low prices for their customers is the core of their business. I can assure you that if Advance could have experts behind the counter for $8 an hour they would. But the fact is ,if they are gonna keep prices cheap so you/I can afford them, then they are not gonna be paying expert/pro wages. And most people that are "experts" dont apply for jobs at Advance/Autozone because they are paid what they are worth somewhere else. No thats not always the case, but thats usually the case. Keep in mind that the jobs at these stores are very important, and they provide a lot of free services that are valuable to you and I. Free battery check, free code checking, free battery installation etc. Those services are important to a lot of people. Im not "content" with checking my parts ,I just realize that if Im gonna get a cheap deal on parts then I dont expect 30 year professionals behind the counter. I tell them what I need, they go get it ,bring it back and set it on the counter..... So right there I have a chance to hold it , look at it .compare it to the old part.
