Message: <blockquote data-quote="TxCobrA98" data-source="post: 335702" data-attributes="member: 8384">k soo its done this a few times in the past but tonight it isn't budging.its about 35 degrees outside right now so its pretty chilly. im leaving to go to my girlfriends for the night because she works right next door to our work and we have to be there at 7 so im going to stay there for the night. well i hop in my car and it starts up and immediately dies. so ive dealt with this before so i crank it up, give it some gas and hold it for about 20 seconds.. well normally its like my car is on, but my engine is not and after like 20 seconds of my car being on and me holding the gas, the car is like OH and then revs up the amount that im pressing the gas in and then all is fine, idles and does everything fine. well tonight, i sit outside for about 5 minutes holding the gas down and it never settles down. i drive it down the street and it dies when i left off the gas. so i come back and i have the battery charging now. i dont know if its my battery though... i can listen to my stereo, car on or car off, lights are on.. it all seems fine, the car just wont idle.so does anyone know what is wrong?? id like to get this fixed.on a side note, im going to pic up the new engine tomorrow! :thumb:and dont say a fix to this is swappin the motor, i still kinda want to know what the problem is because the motor wont be going in for a few weeks i imagine.</blockquote>
