I doubt it is your alternator, because if it were bad your battery would have taken on the load and it too would be on its way out and eventually not start or run your car at all. Like others were saying sounds like fuel issue or some kind of sensor. Sounds like you have the usuals covered. I don't know much of anything about the 4.6 but.... maybe TPS? Might wanna check that one out. You did not mention CEL so I guess there is none of those, which is odd.</blockquote>
