I don't know how people snap these cables. I had mine for over 3 years...Weird isn't it?May be people who broke theirs installed it too tight without adjusting them properly... so when you press in the clutch all the way it poped. Who knows...But my clutch engagement is easier. Maybe it's just a brain game...
