I took my time today though, took me all day, and I fixed some other issues that were buggin too. Also, found out there was no washer behind the pivot ball on the bell housing, so I put one in. it was supposed to have a lock washer, according to the Ford manual. it has one now. Makes a hell of a difference as to where the clutch engages. THe splines on the transmission looked pretty worn, so me and my machinist dad took all the burrs off them and smoothed them so the clutch disk slides nice and easy. The last issue was exhaust stuff, cross threaded exhaust studs and missing bolts on the bell housing.</blockquote>
