Clutch has NO PLAY. Literally a millimeter after starting to release, it starts to engage. I also (again haven't been able to play with it much) believe some times, even if you put the clutch to the floor 100% it seems it's still not disengaging, i.e. if I try to put it into first or second it simply will not go, I have to re pump the clutch a bit once or twice and then it will go into gear.2. When shifting into reverse, there is a loud clunk sound, this is just awful. No grinding, just a big clunk. I suspect it's not actually the tranny but instead maybe drive-shaft or diff (do Mustangs have axle assemblys or diffs, sorry Wapanese car guy here) it's god awfully loud and bad sounding. Also, sometimes when trying to shift into 5th, it will make a very quite clunk. Only did it twice while I've drove it, and I probably went into 5th 10 times, so it's not a consistent problem, which leads me to believe it might have to do with the clutch.Now, the clutches are adjustable correct? So how can you adjust it so that it has play and hopefully fixes this not fully disengaging problem. I'm afraid he doesn't want to admit it's problems and will let them happen until l it causes more problems.Only history I know of the car is it broke down on it's way here (Iowa) from California, tranny blew I believe, I dunno I'll have him come in here with details.
