The problem is that when I crank my car in the morning in extremely cold weather, it will crank forever. The battery is very strong, and alternator is strong as well, less than 2yrs old. You can do this like 4 times and it will just crank. I hear the fuel pump prime, crank and the car wont start. Now here is the kicker, when I tap the gas pedal to open the throttle plate, the car starts and turns over easy. This happened to me last year but once. This leads me to believe that my Idle Air Control Valve is possibly going out? I just want to check with you guys before i drop 50-100 bucks on a new IAC. The car has 93k on it with the original IAC, never been cleaned to my knowledge, and it does surge in the morning slightly when warming up. I do not want to clean it and end up having to replace it anyway...thoughts?-Nathan</blockquote>
